Whiskey Sour
Whiskey Sour by Addison Beck
Whiskey Sour was my first favorite book of the year. It’s the second in a interconnected standalone series, and a newer release. I was ecstatic to find out the book had released.
In the first book, we know that one of our main characters, Knox, is in love with his best friend, who ends up dating someone he doesn’t like. One night, he hooks up with his brother instead, and from there they begin to have continuous hookups. Knox is like a depressing black cat who is beyond rude, while Elton is a virgin golden retriever who wants nothing but love. Together, they’re a mess.
I love this book not just because the intense, very graphic spicy scenes, but because the characters are well done. Knox grew on me despite his attitude, and had a great character arc overall. I loved watching their relationship develop.
